What room a 6 kW heater is rated for
Across these 15 models the manufacturers’ own room-volume ratings span 130–320 ft³. That is a wide band for a single output, and the spread is real rather than a rounding artefact: makers rate the same wattage differently depending on how much cold surface — glass, stone, an uninsulated log wall — they assume in the room.
Take the band as the range of rooms the category is sold into, not as a recommendation for yours. A room at the top of one maker’s range may sit outside another’s at the identical output. The multi-circuit models

In the table above their figures are shown per circuit and never added together, because two 30 A circuits is a materially different installation from one 60 A circuit — different conductors, different protective devices, sometimes a different panel. Treating the sum as a single figure is an electrical-safety error, not a simplification.

How many amps does a 6 kW sauna heater draw?
It depends on the model, and only the manufacturer can tell you. Of the 15 6 kW heaters here, 12 publish a figure, and those run from 16.7 A to 25 A per circuit. The rest do not state one. We will not compute a draw from the kW rating to fill those gaps, because the result would look like a specification while being our arithmetic rather than the maker’s data.
What size breaker does a 6 kW heater need?
That is a question for your electrician and your local code, not for a directory. 6 of these models state a breaker size in their own documentation and those figures are in the table above, quoted exactly. Where the maker is silent we leave the cell empty rather than deriving a number, and even where it is stated, the published figure assumes conditions that may not match your installation.
Is 6 kW enough for my sauna?
The models here are rated by their makers for rooms between 130 and 320 ft³, but that band assumes the construction each manufacturer had in mind. A glass door, a stone wall, or an uninsulated ceiling moves the answer.
